Alp Wildmoos
Alpe Wildmoos is located in Bezau, at the foot of the Winterstaude at 1400 metres above sea level and is easily accessible by the "Bezau" cable car. We manage the alp with 30 cows and process the milk according to old tradition to alp mountain cheese, butter, curd and yoghurt. Among other things, we are a member of the Bregenzerwald Cheese Route and Genussregion Österreich!
On the cosy terrace we spoil our guests with our own products and also home-baked bread.
Children are also very welcome here. Right next to the hut, our playground makes children's hearts beat faster.
Alm - is called Alpe with us!
The Wildmoos alpine pasture is a family business and covers an area of 80 hectares, of which about 30 hectares are pasture. In summer we look after 30 cows, 14 pigs, one goat and a few chickens. From the end of May to the beginning of September the Alpe Wildmoos is farmed. We attach great importance to the production of our own products and offer them to our guests.
After a leisurely or extensive hike, guests can enjoy our homemade products during this time.
In spring and autumn, hikers can still treat themselves to a break with us, because we stock the barn with drinks, cheese, Landjäger, bacon and bread for self-service.
